I have the router workshop table with a phenolic baseplate for the hitachi m12v. My problem is the base-plate is "too large" to fit in the opening in the table. (I can get it to fit if I 'force' it.) I measured the lip that the base plate sits in and found it to be a 'tad' (measurement with rubber ruler!!) under the 3/8 with the 3/8 setup bar on 2 sides. Should this opening be exactly 3/8? I am trying to determine if the baseplate is a little oversize or the opening in the table is a little 'under-size'? If it is the table, should I run around the opening with a 3/8 rabbit bit to try to make it fit or what would you suggest?
I don't want to make mod's to the table and finds other accessories will not work right if the problem is the baseplate.
Thank you and have a good day
