Here are the pictures of the smaller IPAD?TABLET build.

I apologize for the blurry picture of the toothpick dowels I used to hold the back support aligned while the glue is drying.

May you give more details about the way you attached the trimmer to the vise in picture 5?
To answer your question, I set the PC router upside down on the work bench and then clamp the base in the vice. The PC router has a sort of square shaped base that just fits into the vice.

A person could make a clamping jig that fits around the router motor and clamp it in the vice, or build a small box that a trim router could be mounted inside and turned upside down with the bit sticking through the bottom.
