i have pc 690 and it has 3 and 1/2 inch diameter.

 

Mike, PC 690 & 890 are interchangable - both having 3.5" diameters.

 

Diameter is the same, the bases are not interchangeable. Just went thru this after having a 890 motor rebuilt and buying a 690 to fit my 890 bases, the height of the 890 base is taller and the vertical adjustment is different.

could you please tell me what is the height, i mean like mine 690 is around 85mm how about 890?

My 690 base is 3 7/8" (98.4mm) high and uses a spiral slot in the base and pins in the motor to adjust the cutter depth.

My 890 base is 5" (127mm) high and use a Rack on the motor and pinion on the base to adjust the cutter depth.

2 very different systems.

I am using the 890 motor in a Jessem router lift and had to remove the rack. (Very easy 2 screws.
