This is one of the pen boxes that I made from Red Oak and Walnut. Also, pics of a small jewelry box that I made for my wife's birthday.

Excellent work on both Jack. I like those. What size of core box bit did you use for the pen groove? Thanks for posting the pics!

Thanks, I used a 1/2" core box in and a 3/4" guide with a jig that I made from 1/4" poly.
