Hi group from new member! Have materials coming to build 22 x 22" phenolic router table with Shopsmith 520 (front and rear) extruded rails so I can lock table into Shopsmith system and use the 520 rip fence for quick dados. Aluminum Bench Dog Router Plate to hold Porter Cable 892 2-1/4 HP router. Will also use a Freud fence placed for precision (front-to-rear fence) and optional (left-to-right oriented fence) which will permit unlimited table space, if required.

Table will be constructed utilizing 3/4 x 22 x 22" phenolic with a front and rear 3/4 x 3/4 x 22" bolster rail epoxied or glued to bottom of table surface. This will better facilitate placement of thread inserts for mounting Shopsmith rails. Total cost including Freud fence inside of $400.

I could use a suggestion for bonding phenolic pieces together. Suggestions?

2-pack epoxy works as does cyanoacrylate (super glue) for bonding to itself (although cyanoacrylates have a low shear strength so they work best in conjunction with countersunk head screws). For bonding to timber I'd stick with contact adhesive as Ralph suggests, or alternatively you could use silicone sealant and clamp down whilst it goes off. This also works well with solid surface materials such as Corian
