Pics of a few in process

Hey guys and gals! It's been a while since I last posted.......but I have been reading your posts. Here are a couple of pics for a project I have in process. I have the 1st and 2nd place plaques ready for clear coating. The 3rd place and "Dead Ass Last" still need to be sanded, painted and clear coated. The "Trailer Trash Bash" has a "shabby chic" taste to everything so I am keeping that spirit in mind.......meaning my lines are purposely not straight and letters are not in line.....etc. This is the 4th year for this BBQ cook off to happen. My son and his friend put this on every year just for fun. Only 10 teams are allowed and 100% of the proceeds are given back to the top 3 finishers. I have made their trophies for them each year.....and each year has had a different design. This year.....in the spirit of the Olympics.....1st place will be gold colored, 2nd will be silver, 3rd will be bronze colored, and "Dead Ass Last" will get the black backgrounds only.....nothing else will be painted except for the BBQ pit. All 4 will have the BBQ pit painted identical. I will post the rest when I get them finished later this week. I used cedar fence pickets, edge grain laminated, for the plaques and some of their oak fire wood to make the bases.
