I have seen Forstner bits larger than 1" but the only Porter Cable was in a box set..

 

Hi David - There are many suppliers of Forstner bit, any reason the need to be Porter-Cable? I've got a set from Peachtree that goes to 2-1/8.

 

home depot has them individually up to 2 inches, but not all sizes.

The price for the single bits ($13) is about half of what the 'cheapo' sets (1/4 - 2") are,

Porter Cable Forester Bits

The set that i have has 6 sides where you chuck them up in your drill press to reduce slippage, that is what i am looking for.

In the following sizes:
1 1/8", 1 1/4", 1 3/8", 1 1/2", 1 5/8", 1 3/4", 2"

Forester Bits

The ones i was looking for had a six sided shank so they would not slip in the chuck, and yes i located them but they are not made for the Porter Cable Co., Jerry Beall carries them Beall wood working the one who came out w/ the Pen Wizard.

I have a set from Lee Valley and the larger ones (I think anything larger than one inch) are six sided.
