Power Tool Manufacturers, Who makes what tool?

In a recent thread/discussion starter, there was reference to who makes what power tools. Written 1/2/20, the short article with simple charts is here Power Tool Manufacturers and Who Really Owns Them. To me it's very interesting that there is similar quality in the brands owned by one company.

I don't care whose name is on the power tools, there is a dang good chance they are made in China, and in some, if not all, cases in the same factory. Many years ago I went shopping for a bench saw. I did a lot of looking, and pricing. You look very closely, and on a lot of the cheaper saws, they looked the same as the more pricey saws, including the identical tooling marks in the metal. I wound up getting a Harbor Freight saw, for just over $45, if I recall right - it was the twin of a $300 saw from one of the big name companies.

Smaller companies get bought up. Large companies sell out. Look at Jorgensen

Can't blame China..
I think this applies to any product, not just power tools. but there are still some differences)
Welcome to the forum @Cantesind
I think that all tools are made by one little old man sitting in the back room of a factory in China. Quality goes down right before his lunch break.
