The Oak Park table comes with a white plastic plate that "the boys" use to cover one of the two vacuum ports on their table.
This plate has two 1 inch slots near one end and two "T" shaped slots on the opposite end and running vertically.
What are these for?

BTW, I just noticed that the fence covers the 12:00 hole. Should the fence generally be offset to leave the hole open?

BJ, Do you have any thoughts on how deep those slots should be? Can I mill the plastic fence with the router or will the high speed melt it?
