I agree with Mike on the "not real" part. No doubt it was all computer graphics but even at that, it requires a significant skill set. Now if Oliver builds one or two, well.......

This shares the same visual gimickry as CGI movies. They never look real, the movement is too weird and they constantly violate the laws of physics and movement, and they don't lose energy and wind down as the momentum dissipates. Either the pendulums or the rotating toys stay at a constant speed, just not close enough to reality so the illusion fails. Fussy, fussy, fussy. :fie:

I love 'em and would like to make something like that if only there was some way around those pesky laws of physics.
