First of all I am new to routing, being an engineer I do all my own work at home. What I would like to do is to fit a larger double glazed unit into my existing 10mm glazed hard wood frames, there is adequate area on the frame to cut back and fit a 19mm glazed unit + beading, and I don't relish the thought of a hand chiselling epic!!----I have seen it done years ago, from what I can remember the joiner nailed a guide all the way round the frame and routed it free hand, -----any suggestions on where to begin would be much appreciated------
