Re Charles said re the Bosch 1619EVS....I've had one for a number of years and it's been absolutely trouble free. Having said that, it's a heavy beast. Consider that if it's an issue for you. I've mentioned before that I aggravated considerably a chronic rotator cuff injury by trying to lift it off a high shelf with only one hand. Dumb move, I know.

which kit is that?

The"kit' is the 1617EVSPK. Same router but it includes the plunge base as well.
You can still buy the plunge base separately, but it's more expensive that way...
