I also recommend the Bosch 1617 EVSPK kit. You can use the fixed base for under the table mounting or you can get the special base with key shown in the picture. I used my 1617 in my table for years, then got a second 1617 motor just for the table with a lift (which didn't work well--it slipped, the cardinal sin for a lift). So I bought the Triton TRA001, which has a built in lift, is a beast that can handle anything with ease, and costs less than the price of a good quality lift.

I have a couple of DeWalt 18v tools I like, but when shopping for a router, the DeWalt's height adjustment felt flimsy to me so I passed. I also had a DeWalt miter I dumped and got the Bosch sliding miter instead. What a great tool that is, and arrived in perfect alignment.
