I'm wanting to purchase a basic router book to get me started. Routing for Dummies would be appropriate! Amazon advertises quite a few, which is confusing - if there was only one it wouldn't be a problem! Does anyone have a recommendation, please?

Hello Keith,

Here is a link to a posting here that has a great book on routing in PDF format.

Thank you, Bill. I've downloaded that and had a quick look which suggests it will indeed get me started. Beats paying for one, too!

Keith, there are also excellent books by Pat Warner, Patrick Spielman, Bob and Rick Rosendahl. Everyone has a different take on how to go about things and all are worth reading.

PS: Bill Hylton will show up as William Hylton on Amazon.

Woo hoo, my reading list just quadrupled in size...! Thanks as always Mike & James..

Even when different author's are writing for the 'same level audience' with different viewpoints, a certain degree of balance is gained by considering all rational voices.

Perhaps more importantly for me, considering how 'wet behind the ears' I still am at a lot of this stuff, sometimes a different author is exactly what it takes to get it simple enough for me to digest...:)
