Can you tell me who makes mine I bought it with out the removable cord and can't find one anywhere. The router is a craftsman professional 12.5 amp model number is 320.28084 any help would be greatly appreciated.Stuart, Sears sells Craftsman brand in the US and Canada and there are more of these routers in the market than any other brand. They are built by different companies so you might end up with a Ryobi, Bosch, PC... depends on the model.
Some of the routers have ball bearings between the motor and base; it is best to take these for service by someone familiar with them. (They are a real pain to reassemble)
If you need help with a Craftsman router the first step is to copy down the model number. Many of the manuals are posted in the reference section of the forums. Some models are similar enough to others that the methods are identical for repairs. It helps if you can post a photo of the model you are having trouble with; it saves everyone time checking for the right information.
