Hi,my name is Don, I'm retired and am enjoying playing in my little shop when other"honey do" projects aren't crowding out the"research" projects LOL.My collection of tools include,table,band,miter,panel and scroll power saws,drill press,metal lathe(which can be converted to wood),disk,drum and belt sanders,grinders and an assortment of hand power tools,routers,drills, belt sander,dremel type grinder,plate jointer,plus hand tools. Last couple of years have been dabbling in metal casting using a DIY waste oil kiln/furnace.
Found this site looking for ways to make patterns for casting but after looking around think creating finished wood carvings will be fun too (more "research"projects)
I'm looking foward to gleaning information from you all,learning is more fun than most things I've found myself doing.
