Well, that is that guys opinion, but not mine. Had one once, good tools. Sold it when figured out how to make room for individual tools.
Retrofitting shop smith to dedicated drillpress
Here is an interesting video in which I had considered for a dedicated drill press if you could find a used shop smith. Any of you did any of the retrofits.

I think I have found the best drilling solution . For small shops and its not this retrofit but this Woodpecker product.
Auto-Line Drill Guide. Only thing its expensive. Going to spend of money the government gave us.
