Just bought a DeWalt 618 Router and mounted it to a Bench Doug Table. I am not sure if I mounted it in the right rotation direction. I know that the direction should be counter clockwise but the DeWalt manual does not give me a clue. I do need help, I am very new to this.

I think in Australia they run backwards,a down under thing, right Harry.

Hello Ron; All routers run in the same direction, if thats what Your asking. The router bits become useless otherwise. Thanks for joining!

With the router in the table, the bit will rotate counter-clockwise, when looking down on it. All routers turn the same direction.

Also, since the router is turning in that direction, you must move the stock across the bit from right to left.

Always keep the stock on the side of the bit closest to you. Do not ever put the stock between a fence and the bit.
