Hi Everyone,

Wondered if someone can tell me how to separate the plastic top portion from the aluminium lower portion so that I can replace both top and bottom bearing in my router.
I assume there must be screws that need undoing to release the two parts. So far I haven't found them and wondered if they are the two hex headed screws shown in one of the parts diagrams on the net which seem to be under the electric connection block and labeled as part 37.

Have attached a picture

Any suggestions much appreciated.

Thanks Steve and Charles

Yes the diagram does mention a couple of hex head screws which maybe what I am looking for. Bacon and eggs for breakfast then down to the workshop to see if I can find them. They maybe under the incoming power cable holding clamp and I just haven't found them yet.
Thanks for your comments

Hi Gentlemen,

You were correct the two hex headed screws/bolts were under the speed control electronics on one side and the switch gear on the other.

All apart now, bearing procured and just have to put it back together.

Appreciate your respective help and hopefully it will be up and going again later today.

Regards

Derek
