Ryobi - R160

Most of Sears routers were made by Ryobi so it should have fit easily to the table but it should unscrew easily from the table too. Are you saying that you can't get the motor back in the base? You can post pictures from your own hard drive. Click on the Go Advanced reply button and there is a section under the text box that says manage attachments and lists the file extensions that are accepted. BTW, a name would be nice. We hate referring to people as N/A.

It's very similar to one of the old Sears routers made by Ryobi. You need to put the adjustment ring on the router first and screw it up quite a ways. Check to make sure the height lock is in the open position. It's on the back of the base, not shown in the photo. The motor casing has at least one groove in it that I can see. There shown be a pin sticking out of the inside of the base that it slides over. It should just slide straight into the base. The pin keeps the motor from rotating as you turn the adjustment ring. The adjustment ring has to attach to the base somehow but I can't remember how it does it. The gray colored switch next to the word Ryobi on the motor is what locks the armature so you can change bits I think but you'll have to test that idea.
