Safety Issue with JessEm Pow-R-Tek Remote Switch

I own several JessEm products and feel like they are all of excellent quality; Clear Cut TS Stock Guides, Clear Cut Stock Guides and Incra Router Lift made by JessEm. However, I have had a serious safety issue with the JessEm Pow-R-Tek Remote Switch. I have used this switch with my router table for a couple of years and it had given good service until recently. I have this switch mounted on the left front of my router table so that on occasion I can kill the power with my left knee. During a recent project, I killed the power and watched the router bit spin down to a complete stop. I turned to walk away from the router table and the router suddenly self started. Wow!! That could have been a disaster. A few days later this happened a 2nd time. I have played with the paddle switch to see if I can get a repeat of this safety issue and I can't. I sent JessEm an email on September 11, 2021 expressing my concern; I got no response. Next, I phoned their Customer Service and they denied having received my email. Fortunately, i had saved the original email and I resent it while on the phone with Customer Service. This was on a Friday afternoon and Customer Service said that some of the people that needed to see this email were gone for the weekend but they would respond the following week. Again, no response. So, I am asking the community if anyone else has had a similar experience with this switch?

Wow, not a very good response, especially for a safety issue...

If it has happened 2 times, I would dice it. Not worth the risk.
FWIW, I have used the same switch for a little over 2 yrs. now with no problems.

My switch has either a faulty design or a faulty manufacturing process. I have not seen any evidence that this switch went through the UL approval process. The lack of interest by JessEm in discussing this issue with me is troubling.
While I've not had problems with the switch, I've had terrible service from Jessem's Customer Service dept. on a question about its lift -- no response to my request for information either. I contacted Incra even though my Jessem router plate and lift were manufactured by Jessem and not Incra, and the Incra Customer Service responded almost immediately and they answered my question. Incra invited me to call them any time I have a problem with the Jessem lift/plate. That's customer service.

Your customer experience with JessEm and Incra are an exact mirror of mine. I find Incra to be very responsive.
