looking for some who has the sawstop 27 inch router table fence. I was going to use the sawstop router table top to build a router table but want to know if their router fence is any good before I move forward.

Thanks in advance

Charlie, it looks good and Sawstop does have a good reputation, the manager gave it 5 stars, looks like, it is built especially for that table so should fit good, I am sure you can return it if you get it and don't like it.

I'm sure it's a good fence but why spend $150 dollars on a fence? Unless you are using the Incra system there is no need to do any precise adjustments. You could get the same precision using a homemade fence.

I would suggest the INCRA system. It is truly amazing. I will never not own that system and if they make improvements I will buy it. I have terrible skills and the INCRA system makes me look like I have some idea what I am doing. Not much but some idea...)

Good point Mgmine. $150 would help a lot toward the cost of the Jessem lift I want to put in the unit. Being lazy I guess

Can't go wrong with the Jessem lift,I can vouch for that. The best thing I ever bought.

And I’ll second that without hesitation. Completed my router cart. Would like a more sophisticated fence but that’s not a necessity...

You are not going to find much of a quality fence for less than the SawStop. You could build your own, here is a plan,

By the time you buy extrusions and t tracks and other parts, you might be better off just buying the Sawstop that snaps right on the table and is ready to go. Anything else will have to be adapted to your table.
