I participate in a weekly 3d artwork competition/challenge (fun only-no prizes) to work on my proficiency and speed at modeling. As well as help with my artwork.

This week I made a scifi A20 Feralhog spaceplane as a future replacement for the A10 Warthog aircraft.

Made a fast cnc pattern from the plane. Not perfect but may be a fun carve for a young boy's room or toy box.

Enclosed the render I submitted to the challenge. It was 8 hours of fun modeling and rendering.

Let me know if anyone wants a different view render (depth map) of the aircraft (front, top, side).

David, they were really cool to watch. Every once in a while I had to use their conference room for meetings and it was always a pleasure to see their aircraft.

They've announced they've started the acquisition for the replacement aircraft. Hopefully they will have it before I die so I can see it dominating the sky again.
