Season's Greetings or Not

First is Seasons Greeting for those who want them.

Second is for those who don't.

With apologies-to Charles. I haven't figured out (forgot?) how to change Powerpoint files in MAC OS X

"The one won't comply with Canadian law, no french i.e. So for any French members Joyeux Noel. Merry Christmas to everyone else."

Anyone with additional ways of saying greetings, please let me know so "maybe" I'll get it fixed before next year.

You're an evil one Mr. Grinch! I wish I could show my Grinch tie. My grandkids have supplied me with many Christmas ties - Grinch being my favorite followed by Scrooge. Merry Christmas to all.

I think you have the Canadian rules mixed up ! Last I checked CANADA is an ENGLISH country ! We in Quebecistan however have what is called a ''distinct society '' I on the other hand think it's a stink society ! Yes Quebec has language laws and inspectors we call the language cops. In this province, you must have your signs in French only or predominantly.
In other words if you want to advertise in any other language than French, the French must stand out. I'll give you an example of a for sale sign;

A VENDRE
for sale

I thought I could change the size of the fonts but I cant. The French words must be much larger than the English.
Imagine owning a business and being told the language of your sign, if you have 50 or more employees, then you must work in French or get fined and possibly shut down. Sounds like the Gestapo Nazism to me.

I'm not a Holiday kinda guy, because Thanksgiving and Christmas can mean 2 or 3 weeks of no work. I install floor covering and a can't o that with turkeys and trees in he house. :grin: It was fun as a kid, but these days, another day in the week.
That said, people tend to be friendly this time of year and I'll happily reply to a "seasons' "happy" or "merry" greeting............ just don't invite me to the Nut Cracker ballet or a Christmas opera or ask me to go door to door caroling with you. :grin:

I don't take offense at any holiday greeting! In fact, its always appreciated. I also never hesitate to say Merry Christmas,,and never, ever worry about whether or not it is politically correct!!
