Hey, Just checking.

Anybody on here sell signs at craft fairs or Flea Markets?

If so how do you display your signs that are for sell? I do not do personal signs, most of mine are sayings or words. So I make them in advance. I have my first craft fair coming up and wanted to see what the best way to display them.

Was thinking of putting pegs in a board. Each sign would have 3 pegs two long ones for the back of the sign and one short one in front. This would allow the sign to lean back. This would lay flat on my table and I would put maybe 5 signs on each display board.

Thoughts?

I had a friend with a similar need, Scott, although she wasn't selling signs. My solution was to build a folding kiosk that stood on the table. Displaying some of your signs like this has the advantage that people can see sign samples as they approach your booth from either direction.

I can't find photos of the finished project but my original Sketchup drawings should help spur your thinking. For her project we just used signage. For yours you would use the vertical surfaces to display signs. You could even put one with your name or logo across top of the kiosk.

I made mine with the two sides hinged on the long vertical edge so it folds flat for transport. This kiosk would be in addition to what you have already suggested.

I use sawtooth hangers, picture wire or keyhole slot on the back my signs. DON"T lay them on a table. Get them up on a display at eye level where customers can see them.

I started out using pegboard and now use gridwall. You'll have to figure out what hanging device works best for your situation.

I like the idea of using sawtooth hangers and the gridwall. Just need to figure out a quick way of hooking and unhooking from the gridwall. Was thinking of using Triangle Strap picture holders instead as I could use a hooks to hold the sign on the gridwall. Thanks for the ideas guys. Oliver I like your idea of putting my business name on the front of the table using a banner of some kind.
