While I've never needed to have my CNC draw something, it is always nice to see creative uses/solutions for technology. Early in my teaching career we had pen plotters. Basically CNCs that moved the paper back and forth in one direction under the fixed gantry where the pen would move left and right to create architectural and furniture design drawings.
