I’m looking at getting my first CNC. I’m looking at Shp Sabre 23. Any opinions on them? Any ideas on something that you guys like better that’s in same price range. I am trying to stay away from building my own. Any help would be much appreciated. Chris
Like all tools you get what you pay for. I am not familiar with the CNC your referring to. I do know If you don't want to fiddle with it pay more and get something that will do it the same way every time. I have a CNC shark 510HD now for going on 2 years and it has made over 150 projects and it does exactly what its told to do every time. Get one big enough to do most projects you want to do. 24x30 has handled about everything I want to do as a home hobby woodworker.
Before you buy a ShopSabre check out (link removed by moderator), They carry a full line of CNC Routers in NC for way cheaper and the quality is as good or better. even the Biesse routers use the same spindles as these guys use on their routers.
