I'm building a large CD/DVD case 5 columns wide. Each column will hold 34 single standard cases and 2 double standard cases. What is the best way (jig) to cut the slots to ensure accuracy?
I'll be using black walnut. The single case slots are 3/8" with 1/4" spacing but I'd like them a tad wider. The double slots are 7/8". I'd like the CDs to fit so they slide in and out easily...that is, not too snug.
I'm open to any suggestions on how to accomplish this including using a dado stack.
Thanks,
Burt
