Your dovetail bit is set a tad too far out; adjust the depth to make a slightly shallower cut.
Sockets on Half-Blinds Narrower Than Tails

I am working my way through a Porter Cable 4216 Jig on Half-blind Dovetails and for the life of me I cannot figure out why the sockets are narrower than the tails. I can make them fit with enough muscle but they should go together easier than they are.
Any assistance greatly appreciated!

Raising the Bit took care of that problem as I was told.
The Leigh vacuum dust collector far exceeded my expectations, I was absolutely shocked at how much saw dust did not wind up going anywhere but into the DryVac. What little that did not wound up on my shirt. I had read somewhere from multiple posts that at best to expect it to collect 70%...at least in my case it's collecting 95%. Few brushes of the shirt and it's all but gone.
I will vehemently disagree that this is a fifteen minute setup as stated on the box. Getting the beam level with the template was a pain and should only be done when you're taking things in stride. In fact, kind of humorously, in the manual they repeat "...this one time procedure..." over and over.
One oddity is that when I hit a certain point when routing further movement of the Router is not possible unless force is used. This causes the left side of the beam to move ~1/2"+ out and I am not sure why. On each side of the beam is a spring clip that should maintain enough tension to keep the beam from moving. Putting a small clamp in place solved that for now until I figure why this is happening. Photograph attached.
Best $79,00 I've spent in a long time. In fact, Woodcraft gave me 10% so it was less than that.
