rock hard putty or synthetic wood filler...
Durham's Rock Hard it is...I don't if Stick meant Durham' Rock Hard or not but it's the one I use. It's often harder than the wood you put it on. It's a dry powder that you mix with water and you have from 30 minutes to an hour to use it up. The powder never goes bad so that is another selling point and it's relatively cheap too.
say what!?!?!?!?I don't
I'm sure Charles left out "know" (I don't "know" if Stick meant--).The weird thing is I didn't realise the word know was missing until I saw Stick's "I don't"post.Anyone else see the missing word at first??say what!?!?!?!?
Yeap, me neither, and Im pretty sure that even Stick didnt notice the FIRST time. :surprise:I'm sure Charles left out "know" (I don't "know" if Stick meant--).The weird thing is I didn't realise the word know was missing until I saw Stick's "I don't"post.Anyone else see the missing word at first??
Why did the bit loosen??I am building a tool box and needed to rout 1/4" by 1/4" deep grooves. The 1/4" up spiral bit loosened and began to drill itself deeper into the groove. I realized in time to save it from going right through the board.
There is only about a 1/16" left. The hole will be hidden by the front panel spline. How would you fill the hole to strengthen it? White glue and sawdust? Epoxy?
Thanks,
Jamie.
