My understanding is that you can not remove the springs. Once this router is assembled it's assembled.

I have a general question on springs. I have a 3.5 hp Craftsman router mounted in a table, using a RouterRaizer, with the router springs in place. I would like to be rid of the resistance of the springs. In general, if the springs can be removed, and using a RouterRaizer, would removing the springs cause any issues?
Thanks,
ken
