Hello Alan, welcome to the forum and I hope that you get as much useful information from it as I have done recently.
I only came into woodworking 4 years ago, having retired a few years earlier at 70. I have a number of machines, Bandsaw, P/T, Scrollsaw, various sanding machines and lots of 'bits and bobs'. My main interest has been in making bandsaw boxes, (Boxes ofBadger Woodcrafters), as a hobby, so I'm not a furniture maker or complete carpenter. I have just bought the Triton TRA 001 and almost completed my own slide-in table that fits under my workbench/top with the intention of making joints etc.
Based in Wythall, near Birmingham, but pop down to Milford-on-Sea a few times each years to see my elderly Aunt who lives down there. Looks like you have a big job on your hands with the house.
