Hi, Guj; welcome! This sort of question comes up quite frequently. I'm not a table router guy myself (freehand by choice...but that could change) but the conventional wisdom is that you need a router with at least 2+HP and 1/2 shank bits. The 1/4" router & bits just won't 'cut it' so to speak.
If you do find a compatible collet, and you really do need a perfect fit (a bit coming out at 15,000rpm could be pretty exciting!) there's still a lot you can do with it but the low HP and small bit shank size are a bit limiting (no pun intended).
