I just wanted to say what's up to all the router dudes and chicas out there!
I was born and raised out in Southern California ... but somehow I woke up one day to find myself transplanted in the middle of a NW Indiana corfield!
Drawing and photography have been longtime passions of mine ... and I like to think the SoCal Kid in me has always influenced my work. While I can appreciate more traditional art and design ... most of my work tends to focus on trying to capture the relaxed curves and feel of a day at the beach ... cause that's what life is all about, isn't it?
I picked up an old Skill router nobody wanted at an auction a few years back (Figured for a buck it would make a good paperweight if I couldn't figure out what to do with it) ... I'd never taken shop class or had any real exerience working with wood up until that point ... and for the most part, the only thing I was ever really attemted to make with that thing were picture frames for my art work. Then one day I ran across the Routers Dudes on PBS ... and my garage has been a dust bowl ever since.
If nothing else ... I would just like to say thanks to the Router Dudes ... PBS ... and The Woodworking Channel!
