I have a Bosch ra1171 router table. I have had it for years but haven't used it for any more than simple round overs and edge treatment. Today I decided to try out a new lock miter bit I purchased. I am wanting to start making some small boxes for display and storage.
I am having trouble with the setup because the table insert isn't thick enough to be level with the table top. And the small pieces drop when passing through the router. I setup a straight edge and could pass a .020 feeler gauge under it. I posted a video of this. Link below.
Any ideals on what I can do?
