Mast-R Lift II takes larger routers, I believe.

They are all about the same precision. But since they all use a similar screw style lift control, the only precision that matters is your ability to precisely measure the bit height.

If you are going get the Mast-R Lift II, buy the Incra version. Better support and it comes with the Magna Lock plates that don't require a special tool. Also, you can get the clean sweep plates for much better dust collection.

Do you know the difference between the master and Rout R? It is not obvious on the site.

Hello Scott.

About 4 months ago I acquired a Woodpeckers PRL V2 lift. I must say it is quite the sweet lift. Raises and lowers like a dream and precisely adjustable. It is probably the priciest lift on the market, but the shock only lasts until you first use it.

I bought mine with the Porter Cable 7518 motor.

Also consider getting a Triton TRA001 3.5hp router. It has a built in lift,is about $280, about the cost of a lift. I had a Rockler lift, but didn't like it much. It is a bit heavy for hand held use, at least to my, but it excels in the table. It has power to spare.

I second this motion - am using the Rout-R-Lift II with a Bosch 1617 router in Bosch table - had to trim the phenolic 1/16” all around. Sweet...
