Want a saw, Tom?
Thanks, already have a doozie. Laguna hybrid ts and Laguna 14/12 band saw. Hard to beat, and I can switch to 220 if I ever want to. And my recently divorced step daughter wants to inherit them when the time comes. I have a few good years left in me and the tools have a few decades to go. After the virus clears, I'm going to have her come down and take some lessons. My daughter inherits the copyrights.

It sounds like (from previous posts, et.al.) that you have a pretty interesting life! I hope she enjoys the woodworking as much as you. Good luck on the virus thing. Luckily, out here in the boonies, no one I know has it. Hope it stays that way!

Thanks for your input. I took Stick's advice and got a Bosch 4100xc-10. One thing that pushed it was that Grizzly and Rockler both said curbside delivery only for 500lb+ items. We have a 50 yd gravel driveway and I'm an old guy without the resources to move pallets from the street. For the better. Looking forward to seeing it!

Dave; I'm pretty sure Freud's guys would have taken your set into their shop and did a couple of trial cuts with their saw. They wouldn't make a statement like "They insist that the blades work perfectly on their setup..." unless you're damn sure your product is working properly.
I'm with you, time for a new saw! :) At this point you're not enjoying using the old one any more.

Does that mean you bought the Bosch because you've got a long driveway?
