I've never done a cut that long; do you start it early in the morning and let it go until finished or let it run overnight and shut everything down the next morning? It's probably different bits so I guess the job is broken down over sections where you could easily start/stop. Impressive work!
Yes, It was 2 passes. The rough (6mm) pass lasted from 930am-330pm. The finish(0.5mm) pass was 330pm-1130pm
Just to add, some jobs will run well past midnight. Typically I will break the job down over several days. But sometimes I just can't stop going until complete. There are 4 steps to completion. Step 1 is the software design work up to the completed Gcode files. Step 2 is running the rough pass. Step 3 is running the finish pass. Step 4 is the wood cleanup/sanding/stain/finish/paint/ect.
