VER NICE :)

I don't want you to give away any Secrets but it looks like you cut the center out of the block and then cut the drawers in that block and then put it back in the main block , is that true :) also what type of blade do you use to get that fine cut :) and what speed do you run your band saw at ?

That's if you don't mind sharing your Secrets :)

I have tried one or two band saw boxes but they are look like I used a chain saw :) :) :) I use a 1/8" blade at high speed and with 45lbs of pull on the blade but they can't get in like yours. :)

Here is a four drawer bandsawn box created as a tribute to the Australian Platypus.

Sculpted from one block of Red Cedar, it has the Platypus looking out from it's burrow situated at the top of the box. On one side there are carvings of some of the Platypus natural predators such as the crocodile, dingo, snake, eagle and goanna. On the other side there is a carving of the Platypus feeding it's pup, in the den.

It's dimensions are 21cm width, 16cm deep and 38cm tall.

When you became a member I ran the Band Saw Box at the wikipedia.org web site and saw your name listed ,,, :) :) not to bad bud :) :)
