thicness of table top for triton router

how thick should a table top be when using a triton router (13lbs). i plan on using mdf material.

I use the Triton and my table is made up of two thicknesses of 18mm MDF.
The table shows no sign of sagging so far.

Hey beejay, nice shop. just from looking at your shop I would guess that your are from somewhere in europe. Am I correct? and that you golf too.

hi Mike,
Yes, Im from the UK ( we still see ourselves as separate from Europe ;) I live very near a small City called Chester which is about 40miles from Manchester.
And yes, I play golf when I can find the time, dont know how you figured that out mind you ?
I see that you also play, and with a name like that, probably a whole lot better than I do :D

Beejay, I was looking at your pictures of your shop.I could see the golf balls in one of your cabinets, and also seen the plugs for your compressor and router that led me to think you were from across the pond. I don't play as much golf as I would like but I hit the ball pretty long and straight. I like how orderly your shop is. I work in an instrument shop at a chemical plant in West Virginia, and there are a coulple of guys that we work with that are that neet also.
