Great technique, and workmanship, but I didn't like it, it was NOT the American flag, it needed red stripes and a blue field. He made the Maple leaf red ,so why not the red stripes and he could have at least used purple heart for the field.
Make good fireplace wood as far as I am concerned.

You guys don't understand the significance of it, There is no American flag that is black and white. I am offended. And I don't buy the fact that it means this or that by someone who is not a US veteran. and from his speech not even an American. I am sticking by my guns, if he is an American he doesn't understand what this country and flag is all about, to me it is like not standing at attention for the national Anthem or Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.

Yeah I am taking issue of it, because that is how I feel.

Thank you for the apologies, nothing against you, David, I too think the techniques and craftsmanship were splendid, but it hit me wrong seeing the U.S. flag desecrated in this way, and accepted by Hollywood and the Liberal establishment.
I still don't like it.

Herb it would be pretty hard to make a truly accurate representation of a U S flag out of wood. Those colours don't match any wood known. Nor are there any to match the Canadian flag but I was still pleased to see his effort at representing it. There is that saying that it's the thought that counts. And David may have been following his customers directions. Any, I see the best course of action here to close the thread before this situation deteriorates.
