Hi all' I'm a Scot in Oz.into wood turning an most types of woodcraft.Have all the usual toys and a workshop plus nearly finished a new workshop/shed,which I'm looking forward to moving into soon.SPACE!!! at last lol

attached is a natural edged slab of mango made into a coffee table,with 90 yr old rose wood legs(3) I finished last week 2m long 2'' thick .It looks unstable in the pic,but isn't.
Using 1 1/2 thick ply collars with the assymetric legs custom tenon inset with a router

That is a lovely piece of wood Keith. I didn't know that papaya was a good lumber wood but then it doesn't grow anywhere near here either. Welcome to the forum.

Mango not papaya,it's more than a matter of taste!
