Finally my trestle table is finish......I had to change the top from wenge to mahogany, some of you may recall my posting from early December where it showed the wenge top.A lot of work wasted, but I guess that's how we learn.

Teo,
The table looks great.
Interesting shape when it's opened up.

As I said before, you are a talanted, gifted woodworker. The table is just remarkable, so very well done, thanks for sharing.

Teo, that table is just beautiful, it's hard to believe that you're only two years into woodworking. I am however devastated that you haven't shown HOW you made it so that I and no doubt many others can make an attempt to copy it, and don't forget that being copied is the best compliment that you can be given.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments......and Harry, I hear you....... when I started on this table I was not aware of this forum, but I'll keep this in mind for my next projects and document the process with pictures and maybe video.
For this table I was inspired by a design from Woodsmith magazine No. 181........but I did some changes to it, like making it detachable by using the tusk tenon and also adding the four drop leaves; by making it this way we will have more room in our kitchen, since this is where we usually eat except on special occasions or when we have guests, that we use the dinning room.
Best regards.

It is a beautiful piece of work.

Can you tell us what stain you used and how you finished it?

Thanks for sharing.
