Really nice work on your trucks crolf. I like the tricked out truck. Did you make the wheels for it or were they store bought? All you need now is a trailer and this rig is ready to roll.
The wheels are store bought. I worked on the rear treads with my dremal and drilled holes inside the wheel to make them look real. I added inserts to the front wheels to make them like a reverse dual like the real trucks have.
I am going to build a lowboy trailer to go with this truck so that I can put a trackhoe that I already built on it.
That is sweet! Those things aren't easy, alot of work goes into them. I make a model A and it was nothing compared to what you have in that piece. Nice job.
Nice job , I see you like wooden trucks like I do , you may want to check out the GREAT plans at Grizzly.
You said you are going to made a lowboy they have plans for a neat one, see link below.
I have made some of them and the plans are great to work from.

crolf, I thought the wheels looked store bought, but the inserts on the front wheels made for a total different look. Nice work on both sets of wheels. The mods are kool.
Thanks for the compliments. Thanks for links for grizzly bobj3. Those plans are from toys and joys (toysandjoys.com) I have ordered a couple of patterns from them but I have never used them except for a reference on some details. My toys are smaller than those that Grizzly and Toys and Joys sell. I like to draw up my own patterns and sometimes I design them as I go. When I make one and sell it the next one is always different because I see something that I want to different. I already have a pattern for a lowboy that I made a couple years ago.
