This truck is made out popler with cedar inlay for the stripes and seats.

The wheels are store bought. I worked on the rear treads with my dremal and drilled holes inside the wheel to make them look real. I added inserts to the front wheels to make them like a reverse dual like the real trucks have.
I am going to build a lowboy trailer to go with this truck so that I can put a trackhoe that I already built on it.

Thanks for the compliments. Thanks for links for grizzly bobj3. Those plans are from toys and joys (toysandjoys.com) I have ordered a couple of patterns from them but I have never used them except for a reference on some details. My toys are smaller than those that Grizzly and Toys and Joys sell. I like to draw up my own patterns and sometimes I design them as I go. When I make one and sell it the next one is always different because I see something that I want to different. I already have a pattern for a lowboy that I made a couple years ago.
