Used only once to surface plane a panel. This router is excellent when mounted under a table. Plenty of power to do the job at hand especially if you plan to make raised panels for your projects. I used it to plane an uneven panel. While slinging a 1 1/2 inch flat cutter, it just loafed along.
Yes sir. My woodworking has slowed down a lot and I don't see needing this router ever again. I have a CNC that I can use to do any surface planing I need to do. I might add that I have a second Triton mounted in my router table. It has worked great for anything I wanted to use it for.
