Triton TRA001 base plate screw size?

G'Day, I am wondering if someone can confirm that the 4 screws marked by arrows in the diagram are 1/4" - 20 unc?

If your are mounting the router under a table do you remove the black plastic base plate or not?

Hi @wm460 I will check for you tomorrow, as it is dark now in Australia.

I believe they may be 6mm, but not sure. ( best thing I bought from USA is a "thread detective set"...)

I would remove the base plate. That will give you extra cutter height through the table.

PS, that link does not take me anywhere.
Hopefully the photo will post this time.

Hi @wm460

Mine is also that old...

Confimed the size is 1/4 - 20.

Thanks for changing yor profile. I now see that you are in Oz...

I have a TRA001 and TRB001.

I have left the base plate on, in my mounting to a router table. I use an Oak Park Table from Canada. (no longer in production).

Great outcome Mark.
In the future just take whatever the tool is to the hardware store. That is if you have a hardware store.
