Triton TRA001

I have a Triton TRA001 normally mounted on a router table. Today the Spindle Lock did not automatically lock when the plunger was at maximum depth. I removed the router from the table, cleaned and checked adjustments and remove the bit by manually pushing the spindle lock. Still the Spindle Lock does not automatically lock. Has anyone experienced this problem?

Welcome to the Forum...

Is it possible you did not turn off the switch and the interlock is on...? With the switch left on, the router will not go to max depth...

Just a thought...

Welcome to the Forum. The switch is a safety feature, but annoying. Nick's suggestion sounds like the solution to me. Great table router.
