I think you'll be very happy with the Triton saw. I've had mine for a little over 2 months and the cuts are really good, particularly if you do a scoring cut first. I replaced the stock blade (which is actually pretty good) with an infinity blade. Be sure you get a blade that's 165 mm diameter. Many track saws use a 160mm blade and if you get the smaller one, you won't be able to make that scoring cut. The cut is as good as a table saw with that infinity blade in it, The Infinity blade looks to have more carbide on the tips than the stock blade, so it can be resharpened several times.
My shop is divided between a very crowded shed where all the cutting tools live, and my finished garage, where the wood prep stuff resides. I got the saw for the garage, and I'm finding more uses for it all the time. There is a knob you have to turn to allow the saw to move backwards on the track.
