Where did you get them ?
If the teeth are inter-locking, or inter-meshing, I would lean towards being in a paper shredder.

They were found in a home that I purchased. The gentleman who owned the home was a woodworker an had different lathes and whatnot therefore I assumed they were some type of wood bit.
Now I know not to put my fingers in a paper shredder

It's definitely a good thing to learn from others rather than from direct, personal experience. I don't think I'd trade fingers for hand-burger.

Well... general consensus would lead me to believe that these are paper shredder bits....any idea for what make and model? ...JK,JK,JK,lol.
Paper is a wood product and there's no better site for wood annihilation than here! I mean that in a good way! 😉

It could be for a box joint machine, but that's a stretch.

 

When the gentleman passed , the house and garage were pilfered by the (rich) neighbors. All that was left was some of his unfinished work and a 1959
jig saw. He was a master craftsman and in my opinion he needed more than a jigsaw.
Therefore I assumed these were planner bits .
